I have two swap rat knives which I bought from a friend of mine a long time ago and was wondering if anyone could tell me what I have. The first two images are of a knife which is 9.125" oal and the blade is 4.25 with SCRAP YARD INFI stamped on it and the second is 14.5" oal with the blade at 9.375". Great knives just want to know more about them...also I included a picture of a knife my grandfather received after the battle of Midway as senior officer possibly the XO of the 1st MAW and is made from the propeller and window of a downed Japanese Zero that was shot down.

Any info would be appreciated...
Thanks
Rick

These are factory knives, and if you look in the Manufacturers' forums, you'll find both Swamp Rat and Busse, both places will have far better info for you than this one. Try 'em out, they're good communities.

You also need to upload your photos to a hosting site, such as photobucket. Then you will be able to post pictures to the forum using the image tags. And you will get more info if you post in the Swamp Rat or Busse forum here.

They sound like a Scrapyard Street Scrapper 4 and Swamp Rat Battle Rat from your specs and discriptions:

I cannot see your pics. Let me know if I guessed right.
