Ordered two weeks ago and I received today. Initial impressions.....for one, its scary sharp.....really scary. Nicely done Denny. I've heard reports of the pry end causing discomfort. I just received it and have spent the last hour manipulating it in my hand and I don't really see how the pry bar handle will interfere with comfort during use. If my opinion changes, I will certainly speak up.

I ordered the sheath that is available, knowing there were past concerns with the proper fit. There were complaints about it being loose and rattling. I read that Scrapyard addressed the issue before I ordered and rest assured.....the issue was addressed. The fit in the sheath is nice and tight and without being a pain to release. Again....well done. No rattle at all. If a necker could be considered "jump ready"......this is jump ready, Lol!

One concern......as you can see in the pic......there are 4 grommet holes on one side and only 3 on the other. It does not seem that there are any restrictions on the side of the sheath with 3 grommet holes, that a fourth could not be included making it more versatile.

If I'm missing something here.....fill me in. Not a huge deal....but I wanted to ask.

Other than that......could not be happier at this point.

'Gratz on your Scrapivore!

The initial comments on the prybar issues with the palm may have been from the un-coated ones... I don't recall, exactly They might have been just a bit pointier enough in the right places to get noticed, where the coating may add a bit of more rounding off where it counts on these. Just vague memories and half a thought... :)

On the sheath, I'm thinking that it allows the knife to be drawn easier or more fluidly, but with minimal retention loss on the side with 3 holes...or, the fourth on the other side might just be for a IWB retention strap. Or both, LOL. The sheath maker would know, and pretty sure that's Eric, from Mashed Cat Outfitters who linked up with Scrapyard to offer these with the knife. :) He's Grandsuave here on the forums if you want to send him a PM or email to ask.

Enjoy it in good health!
