Any insight would be appreciated. I know these "taste" statements are rather subjective, but I'd like to hear from anyone who has had experience with both.

I've bought both - and the Izula 2 & Eskabar.
Wife likes the Izula, did not like the Scrapivore.
I use the Izzy 2 & Eskabar.
OTOH, scrapivore may be a limited run item, so if you think you want one (or more), buy it/them now.

I'm a big scrapyard fan, but I do prefer the Izula because of the ergonomics of the handle. The handle on the Izula is much more comfortable. I do like the flat part on the Scrapivore, it makes a great small prybar.

Yeah, I'm really leaning toward the scrapivore, to be honest. Eitherway, I'm going to want to pocket carry, anyone know where I could get a swell pocket sheath that would fit either of these?

I really like my Izula I have a scrapivore and the handle seems narrow but I do like how it feels longer . They are both great just one fits my hand better.

talk to KFU -- his sheath supplier makes a nice flat pocket sheath. (not my pic of a BK14 in one)

I personally like the Scrapivore a lot, but the Izula will be much easier to get and probably less expensive.
Hey, could you elaborate more? I found scrapivores on the scarpyard website for 49$ or 59$ if you want the sheath. I'm just curious if you have heard or seen differently? If I can't get one from the site, I probably will go izula.

if it's shown as available in the company store, it's available -- I recommend taking the knife & sheath bundle, that's a good deal on the mashed cat sheath.

I have both as well, I prefer the handle of the Izula, a lot of that is because of the micarta scales, which make it much more comfortable than the skeleton handle or cord wrapped handle even. I slightly prefer the blade shape of the Scrapivore, and definitely prefer SR101 to 1095. I haven't gotten to carry my scrapivore really though, because I got an LE version before they were offering the sheath for just an extra $10, but I definitely want to either make or have made, some aftermarket micarta scales as well.

The orange scrapivore is covered in an apoxy of sorts, right? While the other colors are a coating similar to the Izula?
