Does anyone have any info on the scrapper 6. I'm sure its a good quality knife, but just want to know if anyone knows about scrap yard and their knives.

I just know that i ordered one, and for the price i think that Scrapyard will take some of the sales away from SRKW, (Due to Price)
Dont get me wr i only have one Swamp Rat(M6) but will buy anything new that comes out. I just think Scrapyard is more aforadable to the average joe.

I just posted a question about this on the Busse forum within the last day or two and as I recall, the consensus seemed to be that most people did NOT think that Scrap Yard Knife would negatively impact Swamp Rat. I guess time will tell.

I just purchased one. looks like it's going to be well worth the price. Im not familar with the steel, but I have a feeling it will be of the highest quality.
Thanks for the information.

Given the folks on this board that buy 67 of every knife that comes outta Waxon-Wauseon, I suspect Scrappy sales won't affect Swamp Rat sales one iota. Esp. when each company issues only one or two blades at a time.

In terms of marketing advice (like Jerry, et al need marketing advice), I'd look at issuing different sized knives from each manf. simultaneously to maximize sales. Maybe that means a new HR for Swampers and a Busse folder in the works. ;)

I like the SY series for all the choppers and mojo's that are coming out. I will continue to buy Busse and SR stuff but I will probably buy one of every model SY that comes out. Mostly because I can afford them and I think it wouild be neat to own every model. The SR line wont get hurt, there are all those new designs coming out (including the mojo's) and people are waiting on them. Time will tell how good SR77 is and if it suites my needs. If anything SY will bring more buyers into Busse and SR because they will wet there wistle on a SY and then wonder hay whats a Rat like. Then they might trade up for a Busse and next thing you know they are hooked hahaah. SY will sell alot of knives once more people hear about them. I am going to put mine through its paces and see how I like it.
