just wondering how long it takes to place an order , i tried the swamp rat web site and they never got back to me, and then last week tried to order the scrapper 6 and asked for a reply through email and still no response.
 
I have been on a list for a Scapper 6LE for near a year. You might have better luck picking one up in the (EXCHANGE)...But when you get one you WILL enjoy it!!!! Good Luck! ~baba~

That's the first mistake - trying to order the Scrapper 6 from Swamp Rat?! :D Maybe a typo but, just in case, the Scrapper is a Scrap Yard Knives product - not Swamp Rat.

If you are trying to reach Swamp Rat about one of their products, got to the top of the page for this subforum where you'll find some stickies. Look for one started by Eric Isaacson, open it up, click on his user name and select "Send Email."

Barring when he was out of town over the holidays, he will probably get back with you in 24 hours.

Dang I dont know then, yea i went to both websites and sent an email asking about ordering, i waited for almost three weeks from the swamp rat and juat about one week now from the scrapper site, guess ill try again thanks guys
 
The Scrapper 6's haven't been available for a while, as far as I know. I wasn't aware you could "get on a list" though anything is possible, I guess. I don't spend an awful lot of time over there (though I do own a few SYKnives - great products!)

Regarding Swamp Rat, if you are using the "Contact Us" from the original website, I can see where things might get delayed.

Keep in mind that Patti & Dan Busse from Scrap Yard have been away on vacation and just returned in the last couple of days. You should get a response at some point. Patti is very good with that.

babakanoosh45 - The Scrapper 6 LE was a one time offering. Your only hope is on the secondary market. They can be quite difficult to find.
 
OK thanks guys, ill wait a little and yea i kinda figured the LE was for sure gone, i just thought maybe the scrapper was just a stand alone user as well, thanks again
