So, after my Bullet knife conversion from 2 layer to single blade, and my Cut Co Barlow to single blade G10 Navy style knife, I finally used the scraps. I had 2 pen blades from those, and 2 mating backsprings (which I cut down and/or reshaped.

The G10 Scrappy is made from the Bullet blade.
The black one is the Wharncliff pen blade from the Cut Co. The black steel is literally banding cut from a pallet at work. I don't think you could get a much thinner knife :) and it snaps open and shut with authority!

I like them!

Yeah, I like the rough, scrappy look, kind of like a back alley or down by the docks look.

I guess my thrifty nature combined with my OCD leaves me constantly messing with this kind of stuff (and other stuff like electronics etc) and then messing with the leftover pieces afterwards :) Just to be clear, since I made them from scrap material, the scuffs and stuff are intentional to complete the look. I still have another Pakistani pen blade, but I don't think it takes an edge so I might let that one go.
