Scrapyard 911

Any one has specs on this knife (steel, thickness, hardening process)
I'm very curious about that design.

At least those are the specs to my knowledge, Dan would know for sure.

From the pic I saw in the rat chat, it looked like the blade is the same as the Rodent 9? I'm going to guess that it will have the ultra convex grind too (the 711 does right?)

Any idea on when the 911 will these might be available?

Its anyones guess when they will be available. they just put up the 711 after having the 511 up for a few months, so I wouldnt think theyd be up before next year...

I bet the 911 won't come out after the 711....probably a smaller size. Bring the 711; it should be sweet.

If the 911 holds true to form, it will feature a 9.5-inch long, 1/4-inch thick, through-hardened SR101 blade. As the 711 is essentially a through-hardened re-make of the original Swamp Rat Camp Tramp, the 911 will likely be a through-hardened re-make of the original Swamp Rat Battle Rat. The release date for the 911 is anyone's guess.
