I was hoping to get some info on ordering, I order this knife yesterday. Then I started drooling for it and started search more info. I ran across a few old posts about long waits. Has anyone ran into that lately. I do want to stress that I am not trying to start anything with this post.
 
I'm thinking those who ordered first will start getting them next month sometime. But that's just a guess. Seems like the other 11 series knives were up on the site about 6 weeks before the first ones shipped. Someone with a better memory correct me if I'm wrong.
 
They haven't been released yet, though they should be soon, they're just up for order currently. I ordered mine a few weeks ago.
 
No one knows for sure but it WILL be worth the wait. Just keep repeating, factory direct pricing and you'll feel much better. Don't worry, your'e not alone. I am waiting for mine too:(

I truly didn't know it wouldn't ship directly, that said I am willing to wait for this one.
 
+1 on what Unklfranco said -- You're new, so might not know, but the "Two Weeks" comment is a standing joke about ordering any Bussekin (Busse Combat, Swamp Rat and Scrap Yard) knives. I haven't been keeping track over on the Scrap Yard forum, but that's going to be the best place for you to get any update news on the 911.
 
I emailed them to see if I could send them a money order instead of keeping my dept card on fill. I know that sounds silly but I want the money spent now. Not next month when I get the itch I won't have to hear it twice in one month from my wife. No telling how much the next one will cost you know.
 
mailed the money order off today, just wanted the money spent. got an email 4-16 weeks. really hoping that its sooner then later, can't wait to have it
 
Really glad I ran into this post because I was waiting for a review or some impressions on the 911 from someone.
