I like the TGULB but don't wanna carry it.... if I stab someone they will take it for ballistic and I will not get it back. One of my clients shot 2 robbers about 1.5 years ago and the pistol he used is gone and he will never get it back.

I love Busse designs but prefer a cheaper blade for EDC. Will see if Jerry releases some more affordable blades under SY

I'm eagerly awaiting this next SYKCO release too! They're working on it right now if I had to guess, or very soon to be as they've now cleared the shelves of all the old inventory and finished their testing of the next steel they want to use so it's probably full steam ahead on the new model.

I'm speculating of course based on their recent threads and sales but I bet it won't be very long now. Perhaps the next release as we've had both Busse and the Swamp make releases most recently.

Interesting....leave the good ones at home for looking at and defend yourself with a steak knife?

If I am ever unfortunate enough to use anything in a self defense mode against 2 assailants, I'll gladly replace whatever was used effectively...and likely get a spare.

Hoping for something in the 4-6" range, but I sure wouldn't be disappointed by a nasty chopper in AEB-L.

A DB-421 is a excellent edc for that purpose at less then half the price. I hate this government and don't want a C to take my blade.

Ah, I was wondering this. Yes, having someone try to harm you and then the gov take the tool you used to defend yourself is pretty vile.
Let's get that 7" EDC with Res-C!

It's partway down the thread. Jerry threw a riddle in there partway through and I lucked into solving it. One of the reasons I'm very eagerly awaiting the AEB-L offerings is that I have a $100 credit towards 'em and it's burning a hole in my pocket right now!

I mean, being equipped with the best of the best for the worst of the worst is worth it to me....even if I don't get my knife back. Nothing will stop me from carrying my Silent Knight on my Night walks. Nothing.
