I know this is not a busse related post, but i am going to post it here anyeay, because i have no idea where to post it.

Does scrapyard knife company still make knifes? or are they on a break or something? or am i just to handicapped to use there website? because i have no idea where to place an order for a knife. i have tried to contact them using the sales email givin, but i did not get a reply.

some clarification on this would be excellent,

bump me if im not in the right forum.

your best bet is to go talk to the folks in the SY forums. just click the link on their main page, it'll pop right up. they can probably steer you in the right direction.

They still make knives, the knives on the page are examples of past models.

Join the forums, we would love to have you. :D

Personal thought... I think so many of the Busse buyers are spending their $$$ on the ASH1s, the Ganza's Knob Creek and the Blade show coming up, that the Scrap Yard people are not bothering to make knivesk since they would be in competition with Busse knives during this big sales time.. both Swamp rat and Scrap yard were set up at the Knob Creek show with lots of their dog fathers, Yard guards, dumpster mutts etc... Same with Swamp rat, but again, not much on their sales sites.. It is very disheartening not to see something for sale though... If one were wanting a cheaper knife, my only advice is to wait for a Knob Creek show or go to Blade in Atlanta.. or wait.... I do agree, something needs to be improved with both Swamp rat and scrap yard as far as "something" being offered for sale at all times.

scrap yard is set up just like the other busse kin knives.
they are released in batches & you better get them while you can.

*****one reason that scrap yard has not released any knives as of late is because they up & moved the entire family & business from texas to ohio

If you're after a Scrap Yard knife I'd recommend getting one from the exchange or something. I've gotten nothing but headaches over the ongoing problems with them since February. So far 2/3 orders have been nothing but hassles and regrets. The knives are good, but their service is severely lacking IMO, I havent dealt with a more disorganized group, and I know of other people who are having similar problems. When they finally figure out whats happened to my last order I'll be glad to never have to deal with them again. just my 2cents.

Well the DCDM can be explained by their moving(be empathetic man); plus they may already be in the mail, from what I have heard the Canadian post is quite slow.

Did you score on the DF of did you miss out?

I've heard of the moving thing, and frankly I dont care. If they cant manage their business and a move simultaneously they shouldnt have done a release right on the eve of it. Besides, what are you saying? That it takes 4 months to unpack?
