Scrapyard Knives Website Down?

The retail site isn't working, but the 'Yard forum appears to be fine if you go there directly.
 
Hoping the website is down because they are working on the debut of the 1311 LE in INFI
 
Still no response. Anyone heard anything? Odd that the SYKCO site would be down when the other two sites are fine.
 
SYKCO has slowly stopped communicating with its customers over the past year...communication still exists, but the community / culture that they were embracing early on seems to be waning.

Busse has started releasing a Battle Grade (coated SR101) and new Res-C models. Busse also engaged in a market saturation effort called O2W. While a few models have come out under the sister brands...it is slower than in the past.

It's a reasonable possibility that they could be consolidating the business models to focus on one primary brand. It may not happen overnight, but the actions seem to be trending. Or...not :):p
 
That thought did cross my mind. Just seems odd that they would do it with no announcement of any kind, given how actively Jerry and crew interact with their customer base.
 
the forum is up but the website is down when I try it. So I go straight to forums.scrapyardknives.com
 
O2W is actually exactly what Dan said he wanted to do when they discontinued the '11 series. Small batches for short periods of time and lots of models
