COOL pics of an abused Scrapper 6

http://www.knives.pl/www/artykuly/testy/scrap_yard_scrapper_6_fundusz_testerow.html

Steel: SR-77
Handle: Resiprene C
Blade Length: 6.5"
Overall Length: 11.5"

+ sharp
well made and balanced
great knife for the $
feels great in hand

-
coating is too thick compared to others like the Neil Roberts
came with no sheath

The handle fit my hand like a gloove but I couldn´t resist and had to modify it :D
(took 2.5 hours )

Thats pretty nice. I bet pitdog will have something to say about it!

Nice little mod too:thumbup:

Congrats ZZ! and when you start wackin it you'll really luv the shock absorption of the res-c. Micarta is pretty but doesn't feel as good to me.
The thicker coating helps protect the blade longer, over time with use it will get "shinny" and not wear as fast as many thinner coatings do.
You got a good one, enjoy :)

Care to share your method with us? That looks great!

1.looked at this pic:

2.went to the local hardware store to get a round file (bastard)

3. used a Sharpie

to mark where I wanted the grooves to be

Have never worked with Res-C before so I had to get used to it.

don´t rush

it will take time

Res-C is ductile :barf:
