Scratched Almite!!

Hey Y'all...

I seem to have put a little ding into my almite handled navigator. it looks like a little silver speck and I must have nicked it on something. For the life of me I cant think of what. I had it in my watch pocket of my jeans, had it out a couple of times, but didnt scrape it with anything. Am I forever doomed to have a silver speck on my almite handle, or is there anything I can do?

Hi Matt. Sorry for your dilema...albeit a strong coating, it IS a coating, and can be scratched. I think you are forever doomed to live with the "added personality" to the model.

Well, it's no big deal. It will help be move it from the "new knife" to "true user" stage. The knives I love most are the most beat up ones. Hmmm... Kinda like the chicken/egg problem I wonder if I love them because they're beat up, or if they get beat up because I love them...
