Recently got this knife. Blade is scarred -- looks like from a stone. Is there any remedy for this?ImageUploadedByTapatalk1394761858.485873.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1394761870.511985.jpg

Not without messing up the coating on the blade.... Best advice I could give is sand it out and stone wash the blade or acid etch it? Otherwise, gonna have to live with it... Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Touching it up with a black marker is an easy 2-second sort of fix. Sadly coating damage can't be fixed.

I agree with Alaska. You'd really have to strip off all the rest of the coating and do a stone wash, DuraCoat, or other finish. I'm sure there are folks here who can advise you if you want to go that route, but I'd personally say just start using it. It'll get scratched up further with use anyway.

I don't think there is anything you can do to make the coating as it is new. I'd just go ahead and use it. it would look cool as you get more scratches. THEN, when you & your 530 are ready, send in to Benchmade service to get replacement blade.

Thanks to everyone...looks like I am just going to live with it. 😎
