Scratching G10

So I've seen tons of threads about how to clean up G10; about which solvent to use and so on and so forth. But while preparing my knife to ship out to a buyer I was trying in a last ditch effort to clean some very tiny blemishes off of the G10, and decided to try something that for some odd reason I hadn't tried before...scratching it! Well...I guess I hadn't tried it because it is a very expensive knife, and just out of habit of not damaging it on purpose. But I forgot that G10 has super non-damaging powers.

So yea, I used some mineral oil, and just scratched the marks with my fingernail a little, and voila, instant smudge removal. I haven't seen this recommended on any other thread, so I decided to post about my success for anyone else looking for help.

Oh, I also rubbed just a drop or two of mineral oil on each side, because the G10 seemed a little dry and non-grippy. Now it's a bit shinier and grips better too.
