I was over at badmojo reading the list of knives that have been released already and then taken out of production until the next go around. Any one have any idea what the hell the Tanto TAC and Tanto TAC LE was? Me thinks our friend has got some wires crossed. Is it me or was the relase line up like this:

1st - Active Duty and SF Natural Outlaw
2nd - NARK and Force 1
3rd - Meaner Streets and Leaner Meaner Streets
4th - Fusion Steel Heart, FSH LE HOGFSH and so on.
5th - Satin Jack TAC
6th - American Kensei and Skeleton Key

Am I missing one? Was there such a thing as the Tanto TAC & Tanto TAC LE? Did I drop off the face of the earth for that one?
 
I looked back at the pictures of Blade '04 at BadMojo and there is a knife that matches the Satin Jack TAC in almost every way but the edge toward the end curves up in more of a traditional tanto shape (more round, not angular). That was what I believed was the Tanto TAC.

That change was posted right around the time the AK47 was announced and I wondered if the Tanto TAC and the AK47 were going to be offered at the same time as somewhat of a companion set.

You are right though. It has needed correcting for a while now.

I was thinking something similar Dunner. Badmojo is an excellent source, probably one of the best. I just wanted to make sure I am not going crazy. :)
 
As far as I know the Tanto TAC hasn't been offered yet but here's a pic of it on the right.

Ah yes, that one. I am wanting one of those grooved fighters next to it, oh and one of each of the recurves. :) No Serrations though please.
 
You know, that Tanto TAC looks very similar to the Force One without the band cutter. Do you think maybe the F1 took the place of the Tanto?

I think the fourth one from the left bacame the Force 1. The one all the way to the rightis listed as Tanto Tac on the dog tag.
Ah shucks I'll just take one of each. :D

Oops, I said right when I meant left.
 
And it looks like the NARK is the second from the left, minus the top serrations. Interesting.
