screw and rivet?

Hi
On the pivot of folding knives, some
use screw and some use rivet, witch is
better? will knife with rivet loose
easier and cause side play of the blade?
I plan to buy one like Endura or Ascent
any one met a rivet-loose of these knives
after a time of use?
Can we tighten it with a hammer?
Thanks

There is a thread in the Spyderco forum that addressed some of the questions you have asked. For what I prefer, I like Screws for pivots, or rather pivots that use screws. But some rivets work well, like the ones of Cold steel folders, As ugly as their Zytel knives are, they seem to hold up well..
