I know it's probably been discussed before, but does anyone know the size of the screws used on Sebenzas?

6-32 looks like a good fit- Screws in well.

IIRC, the screws are custom

If someone want's to chime in with the size of the Umnumzaan O-ring, I will be happy to sticky it as a FAQ along with any other relevant information. :)

You can add this also as 5/64" will cover all your frame screws ( with the exception of pivot screws on Sebenza 25, inkosi, Ti-Lock ). Many like me prefer something like this as compared to a small hex wrench. Well worth the $5-7$ it costs.

To anyone or all that own the Wiha wrench: Does it just fit better than the ones that come with the knife? I keep putting off purchasing the Wiha. I really need one.

I found that a 2mm(I think) fits completely in the head versus the 6/32 that has some movement in the older screws. The newer ones have been reporting in as being almost too close for the included key to fit. When I get home, I'll open my tool box and see what size it was, but I'm pretty positive it was a 2mm key.

2mm is pretty tight, but works..6/32 reduces down to 3/16,..much too big..You must mean 5/64

Any quality hex wrench should work well..Fit is a problem with off brands sometimes.

Short list of brands I use and trust on a daily basis

Wiha
Wera
Bondus

This is not to say that there aren't other quality brands..these are just the ones I use often.

This thread is a little confusing to me. The op ask for the screw size. However, from what I can tell, posters are telling the op the size of hex wrench to use.
For instance, a 3/8 bolt uses a 9/16(head size) wrench to turn.

Or is my point irrelevant because they are one in the same with the internal type hex we are discussing.

Are we giving the op the correct information?

I already gave the OP the correct information on the screw size- It's a 6-32
The OP asked for a thread to be stickied..I requested more info to be added to the thread. Hex wrench sizes is one of the suggestions to be in the sticky

Yes..you missed something :p

For what it's worth,..I didn't forget to sticky the thread, but would rather start a new thread with your suggestions pulled from this one to keep it somewhat tidy.
I really need to go through the stickies and consolidate them to tidy them up as well. As much as possible, I think it would be nice to not have to wade through a page of stickies before content.
Besides..a few of the stickies are pretty stale..have missing pictures, links etc.

Didn't miss anything, just learned something new. Thanks

Never heard of a 6-32 screw sizing and then it really through me for a loop when you corrected someone for saying 6/32☺️... Guess I have never seen that form of notation for sizing. Interesting.

Ahh..so, I see where you got confused. I didn't put that together..I too learned something!

General information- Threads start in the number sizes..The first number designates the size, the second the number of threads per inch (metric threads work pretty much the same)

0-80, would be size 0, with 80 threads per inch.. it's also one of my least favorite threads to create for obvious reasons.. I need better eyes!

6-32 carries this on, just bigger

Anything glaring in my History Timeline Sticky bhyde....??? It's definitely something that I think should be an isolated sticky as it deals with a specific topic.

For the picture ones, I agree that there are pages and pages that the pics no longer show as they have been deleted.

It's Bill :)

No, nothing at all- your thread is fine.. It's the missing pics and broken links threads..What I would like to do is make ONE sticky with links to those threads. Similar to what Stacy Aspelt did in the Knifemakers discussion. Your thread would reside on the first page right where it's at. The others would have links with descriptions. Basically, an FAQ in one thread.
The timeline thread NEEDS to be it's own. There is alot of history and important information in there..
Just looking at trimming down the sticky list. The pics only threads will also stay..

When I am ready to take on this endeavor, I will most certainly post a thread explaining the goal as well as getting the CRK community involved :)
