Hi guys!
Can anyone tell me the size (like thread pitch and screw number) of the T6 screws on most of cold steel's folding knives?
Thanks for any feedback.

I think but I'm not sure, they are 2-56 threads.

Screw sizes are not typically denoted by the size of the tool that engages the head. If your screw measures .086” in diameter on the thread, it is most likely a #2 with a thread count of 56/inch. The next size down is a 2mm with an .079” diameter.
Screws are denoted by their diameter, thread pitch, length, head style, point style, material, finish, and tool engagement.

The M2.5X0.45 size has a diameter of 0.098” and a pitch of 56.4 TPI.
The M2.2X0.45 size has a diameter of 0.087” and a pitch of 56.4 TPI.
The M2.3X0.45 size has a diameter of 0.091” and a pitch of 56.4 TPI.

Seeing as how it's a U.S. company, the threads are likely to be #2-56 UNC. However, in this day and age of global manufacturing, it's not a good idea to assume. Check the O.D. - and if you have the capability, the pitch - to be sure.

Alternatively, you could just buy all the sizes and check by screw fit since they aren't very expensive. If you do that, make sure you use the screw that's the most snug fitting when it's only a couple threads in. The #2-56 is darn near interchangeable with some of the close metric sizes but if you use the wrong one the screw will be excessively loose - making it far more likely to strip the thread when you tighten it.
