i was at work today and i get this pallet infront of me with paper bound together with what i think are plastic straps. they usually are plastic so i proceed to open my kershaw storm II and place it behind the strap and forcully pull back to rip through it with the serrated portion of the blade. then kling clang kuchunk!!! it was a METAL strap!!! i imediatly check my edge as all of you all would, now considering that the strap is unharmed save for a scratch on the black coating, my blade did remarkably well. only two small chips from the serrations and they are still sharp enough to shave hair. how is that for edge retention?
