So I'm wanting to do some mods to my BK2 factory shealth and have some questions. I am wanting to put some 3/8 inch cable clamps on the sheath to hold a fire steel like so many have and am concerned that factory mounting screws barely screw in after going through the cable clamp holes. Did people buy a little longer screw or should they be fine?

What are they screwed into? Just self threaded into the plastic of the sheath or some nut? Most of the pics didnt come up sorry.

No, not self threaded. It's already threaded. Here's a few photos I just took. See where the screws are holding the belt loop plate on the front of the sheath:

Just flip the sheath over. See the threads? Just find short screws that will fit in that. I took my sheath to the hardware store to make sure it was a good fit:

Not sure if The Warrior ran into the same problem I did, but the only screws that fit there (for mine anyways) were metric sized and threaded. M4 I think. Something like that. Good luck!

That does seem right Derek, but I can't remember for sure.

4mm-.7 is what I found today. The only thing I could find was stainless steel. Not trying to say that is bad just wanted to stick with black

Mine weren't black either. Usually, I'm picky like that, but it'll be on the back anywhos.

If you have a place that caters to remote control stuff a lot of those use metric screws, you might be able to find black ones there, but if not, like Dubz said, it will be on the back and shouldn't be too aesthetically disturbing.
