Is the Screws beadblasted or polished on a "standard" Sebenza?

Can anyone post a picture of the 2 types?

I ask because I need the one that shine at least.

Thanks
Thomas

Welcome to BladeForums.

The Sebenzas used to come with bead blasted screw and pins, but they now come with high polished screws and pins. I think the change occured sometime in early 2000. If your want, you can order beadblasted screws/pins from CRK for about $10 US. Sorry I don't have a pic of two large Sebenzas, but here is an Umfaan with bead blasted screws/pins next to a large sebenza with polished screws/pins.

Hope this helps.

My pleasure. For what it is worth, I also prefer the bead blasted screw/pins on my sebenzas

I only have one sebbie at the moment:o but I like the polished screws. I do have the silver contrast graphic on there though, so it look ok. I could see getting the beadblasted ones, it would kind of tone it down a bit. What I wish I would have done was order mine with a silver or gold thumstud. I like the blue, but the others are nicer looking IMHO. Please post pics, once you get the screws and change them out. Before and after would be cool, if it's not too much trouble

Here's some pics of my old BG-42 Sebenza with bead blasted screws...

I'd love to take credit for the pics, and I'd really love to tell you that they are mine, but I'd be lying to you.:(

I saw the pics somewhere and fell in love with the maple leaves, so I saved the pics. I wish they were mine, but thanks anyway.;)

The sebenza in my avatar is mine though:D
