Screws Wont Go All the Way Into The Handle?

Hey guys, i took apart my Spyderco tenacious and my SRM 707. I put them back together and now the screw at the very bottom of the handle wont go flush with the handle. when i turn it, the spacer/pillar spins around. I've thought about cutting a little bit of the screw so it will go in further. I don't know what to do, its not bothering me as in comfort or anything, but i would rather have it inside the knife, if that makes any sense.

Do it over again and start at the bottom

you might have got screws mixed up. like the other guy said "start at the bottom and do it again". they where flush when you started or is this why you took em out?

They were flush, i was new to knives and kinda wanted to explore Lol. But now the screws wont even come out. i was able to get it in more so now its barely sticking out. its safe to say i learned my lesoon about Screwing with knives (Pun intended )
