Screws?

Does it bother you knifenuts how many screws there are on the bolters of folder? I see alot of knives with the pivot screw and one more smaller screw but I feel better using three screws plus the pivot. Lemme know whatcha think knifenuts, 1 screw, 2 screws, or 3 screws?

I prefer three screws, but I don't really have any good reason for doing so. I don't think that there is significant strength increase in 3 screws vs. only 1. These smaller screws only hold the scales to the liners in most cases, right?

Good question, maybe someone else can confirm if there is an advantage to more screws?

I use 3 as well and like the look better,but have had customers ask for pivot +1 and I will do it on limited basis but I always return to using 3,I also belive that it will reduce the flex in the pivot area during lateral or twisting actions, not sure about this but it seems to me that it would.
