Scrimshaws!

Unfortunately, I can't contribute with pics as all mine are lost at the moment. I never see these on the forums though. I absolutely love the art style of these nature scenes on the old schrade scrimshaws, reminds me of my grandpa.

I keep my eye out for good deals on them but they seem to catch a good price in good condition. 40-70 bucks.

I just posted in the wanted knife makers service to get a commission for scrimshaw covers for a GEC 81 stockman. Anyone here able to do something like that? Not sure of the response I will get in that forum.

Anyway, if you have some to show off lets see them!

To start things off take a look at the page link below. There are many Schrade Scrimshaws on these pages done by the Schrade Scrimshaw artist Frank Giorgianni. These are all on Delrin handles where as you are probably aware true scrimshaw is done on ivory or bone material.
