Scroll saw blades to cut G10?

The other day,i tried my hands on ripping a pair of scales on my variable speed scroll saw with G10. I went through 4 brand new scroll saw blades and finally finished cutting out the initial shape with blade number 5. These were RYOBI 11-12 TPi skip tooth blades. Does anyone have any advise on better blades to use on G10?

I don't think that any scroll saw blade is going to hold up to G10 for very long.

A metal cutting band saw with a decent blade is your best bet.

Funny I had the same thing happen to me on the first set of scales I ever roughed out made of G-10 a few weeks back.

If you can't do anything but use a scroll saw (don't have a bandsaw, or a working one like me..) I found that higher TPI and lower speed made the blades last a fair bit longer because they heat up less. But it's still not ideal... when I did the latter I still used 2 blade per scale...

I plan on just grinding my G-10 to shape... 50 grit eats it quickly without heating it up too much so you don't damage the resin strength it seems.

If you come up with a solution/type of blade though I'd love to know too!
