Hi Everybody,

I actually did this mod around last summer.

But just traded Todd back out of it.

A Sus Scrofa, that I changed into a type of bull nose point.

What do you think ?

Looks good Dave, I made a similar mod a few years ago, it makes it a more useful knife. It opens beer bottles great also!

both are nice, but this is the coolest scrofa ever (and both may be the only cool ones ever):

I considered buy a scrofa and doing the same exact thing, I was going to remove the recurve as well. Looks good!

I'd like to buy a scrofa and make the recurve more pronounced - grind it all the way down to choil level and get rid of the choil. That would rock.

Honestly, either or. The recurve on the scrofa the way it is makes the blade look like it was ground drunk. I'd either make it more pronounced or get rid of it entirely. I have no problem with recurves, I just don't like small ones. It's the same with music, ever sit in a car when someone is playing the radio VERY low that you can barely hear it? I'd rather have it off. up or off, either way.

Hmmmm I have a Sus Scrofa and it an't no closet queen, would be nice to widdle with it but man does it slice like no tomorrow..not that i often need to slice things at high speed.

How did you modify the tips?

I removed the curve, convexed it and stripped it.

after making quite a few marshmallo roasting sticks the night before. It was his first real campout. There were like 20 other kids who's parents did not bring any knives for making sticks. Who do you think made them all?????? This guy:thumbup::thumbup:

Great job all around, they all look great...but jeez....am I the only person who actually likes the SS as is? (bring on the vomiting emoticons)
