I wanted to share a gift I received from Scruffuk ( Thom), with all of you. I simply expressed my appreciation for Jack's Aitor in his fine thread and Thom messages me for my address. He said he would like to send one to me as he thought i might enjoy it. Well, it arrived and I can see why both Thom and Jack appreciate these knives. And why Jack is carrying this thing every day and cutting every vegetable in site. It is a real slicer and just has that something special in person.

Thom, I want to thank you for your generosity, for the knife, I love it, and for the coins you sent me, they will find their place in the frame with all the coins I have received from this fine group of people. A group that I am truly lucky to enjoy.

Here is a shot of the beautiful coins and Castor, Thom sent me.

Thanks again, Thom

Gev, it seems we have both received some great gifts today

I hope you can find a fraction of the time for the Castor in your pocket that Jack has with his.

Enjoy all your slicing and dicing!

Have a great weekend.

Well done for sharing the Castor Joy Thom. Gev, you're going to love this knife. It really arrived quickly, Thom was down at the Post Office within minutes of you making your post! :D

I've just been having some fun, slicing every vegetable I can find in the fridge  Photo taken just a few minutes ago :D

Thanks again, Thom. I already have been slicing and dicing, but maybe not as much as Jack:eek:

Good for all of you. Great generous spirit we have on this forum.

How's the pull on that blade?

Carl.

I would say its a 5, nice tight lock-up. This is one solid user. And talk about sharp. I'm very impressed. I can see myself getting very attached to this one, just like you and your Pattada, Carl

I could see myself getting very attached to one because of it's similar blade profile of the Pattadese. It works so well for a wide variety of cutting.

Carl.
