I'm searching for a good, well designed scubadiving knife, does anyone has an idea ?
What about the amphibian from kershaw ?

How about the Benchmade 100SH2O?...It is touted as 100% corrosion resistant, and even comes with a bright yellow handle (as well as black).

Allways carry two knives, or one knife and EMT shears. Unless you spend big bucks, all you are going to get is 420 J2 steel, its cheap but corrosion resistant. Shrpen it with a file, or a very coarse stone, and it will cut well enough. underwater, there is no push-cutting, only slicing. a saw back is useless, but partial serrations are good. a line cutter is a nice feature. A blunt tip makes a far better, and safer tool, as most dive knives are used as a prybar first, edged tool second. A hammer pommel should be a requirement, not to use as a hammer, but to strike your tank as a signal to other divers. Lastly, the sheath is just as important as the knife. it should positively retain the blade under any circumstances. The old fashioned big knives with the rubber retaining ring work OK as long as you don't mount it on your leg! You will lose it sure as H*ll! I use a Wenoka dive knife with a metal push button lock that works beautifully. blut tip, serrated back, smooth edge with line cutter, and hammer pommel. This one can go on the inside of your lower leg without falling out. I also carry EMT shears in my BCD. for a fishing line encounter ( probably the biggest hazzard for which you will find a knife useful) I would much prefer the shears. You can spend more if you want to, but in real life they get used so little, and only for short periods, that better edge holding is really moot.
