So after my latest mod of making scales for my BK9, I had an extra set of Grivory scales. I have so far decided to not mod my BK7 much but I took the extra scales and roughed em up a little with 80 grit sandpaper. Takes the slippery feel off em pretty fast :) in the past I tried sandblasting a set of old Cammilus grips but that didn't work as well as I'd hoped. If you like the factory scales but not the texture, try some rough paper on em :D
 
No pics. Too lazy tonight. They look duller in finish than stock is all. They feel great though. Not as good as micarta but better than stock.

thats OK, I was just wondering if it left scratches on the finish or just dulled it...now I know. TY I might have to try that
