Hi All,

Just about to order my first Busse with a scull crusher and all of a sudden though it may be an issue to have a sharp end sticking up at you?

Does anyone have an opinion on this? Maybe an inadvertent injury?

I understand that it’s supposed to be for breaking glass and such in an emergence, though not sure how often this will come up.

Thanks for any feedback

I dont like em that much. I have had them poke me in the side when I am wearing a high riding sheath that may have a tecklock. I also dont really see a need for them on most knives. I like that there is an option to not have it on this one:thumbup:

I can break glass with the rest of the knife if its that big of an emergency.

unless your sheath tends to pull the handle inward towards the body you probably won't have to much problem with it. most of the issues come from when the top of the knife is right next to floating rib where the ribs start to curve outward. leather sheaths will do this less then kydex, and low-ride kydex shouldn't give you any problems.

 The skull crusher and swedge are useful in case you find yourself in a state of choptardation and need to destroy a cinderblock, but don't want to rape the edge.

thanks guys, all ordered and done. went with the round and sure it will be great. all in it was urban gray/tan mic w/choil, swedge and round butt..

by the by.. if you google skull crusher "drink", this is what comes up.
