Sculpted G-11 Umnumzaan

I had a request to fabricate a natural (G-11) 3/16" thick scale with sculpting for an Umnumzaan. The thicker than normal scale allowed me to really get aggressive with the sculpting. This knife feels perfect in my hand! I really hated sending this one back to its owner.

Natural G-11 is hard to photograph, so I'll apologize in advance for the lack of clarity in the pics:

That looks very cool on an Umnumzaan : ) the main difference between G11 and G10 is that G11 is somewhat translucent right?
 
I think I emailed at one point asking what a sculpted handle would look like on the Zaan- and here's the answer! Looks amazing. Great work.

Actually, this scale does not glow in the dark.

But there is a material called Half Life X that does glow:

Thats a nice job you did on that one. :):thumbup:

(That half-life stuff is great for spacers, I got a bit of blue and the green a while back).

I like the looks of the factory Umnumzaan.
Somehow you always manage to improve on excellence.
 
I really dig the natural g11, looks incredible.....is it noticeably lighter with the g11 scale? :thumbup:
