In the best way imaginable. I was doing some half assed feathersticks with some of my favorite knives over on the S!K forum and it really struck me on two things.
1- How far the BK-16 was punching above its price point.
2- How badly I've treated my poor 16.
It's borderline fugly, and I absolutely love it for it! When there's something rough or nasty to do, the 16 is it. Just like the 15 in the kitchen. It doesn't get to cut a ribeye, it has to slice the mostly spoiled onion to add to my pinto beans because I'm a cheap ass trying to save money for more knives. They don't get abused or anything, but they sure get the most un-sexy of jobs.
The only thing I'd change is I'd like a little thicker handle, I bought a 16 with LMF Joe handles recently, I'm curious to see if they feel different.
If you've got a Becker you've beaten and nastified let's see them!
