Howdy folks,

My Scotch Dispenser just arrived, and it's a sweet little number. I know several of you have requested some in-hand pics, so here you go! It is indeed very comfy, exactly as advertised. Now let the moaning from those who didn't order one from the shop commence. Mine came with a free lanyard, too! Thanks guys!:)

Thanks,

Andy

Edit: forgot to note: background photos shamelessly plucked from this forum and Busse Combat. Those are Jaxx's BATACLEs- I was too lazy to take pictures of my own. Yes, I have pictures of other people's knives in my office. Strange.

Thanks for the pix!! I just got off the phone with the amazing Amy, and now that mine are paid for, I should be seeing them before the weekend!:thumbup:

I can't wait to get my one-of-six...hopefully today! Thanks MW.

Some people have pictures of their friends, family and pets on their walls. You have pictures of Busse knives!!

Sir, you deserve a cloven-hoof salute. (can we get an icon of that)??

Bigger is better. Hope nobody minds.

Looks to me like that handle butt is going to dig into the palm or the base of the fingers pretty bad during use. Those two little prongs look painful. It may be comfy now, but when your working it, I don't think it will feel the same. Keep us posted.

The little prongs don't come into contact with your fingers. The "prong" closest to the blade falls in between your middle and ring fingers. The second prong falls between your ring finger and pinky. Your ring finger rests on the little indent between the prongs. I like this knife quite a bit- it is very flat and compact. The only drawback to it I can see is that it can really only be used in one grip. (the so called "complete grip", as described by Loveless) There is no comfortable way to reverse-grip the Scotch dispenser.

The good news is, when held properly, retention should be excellent. There is no way this thing is getting knocked out of your hand.

I need to get a sheath made up, and I'll probably end up EDCing it. I love my OJ warden, but it is a bit bulky for pocket carry, which is how I carry it. The Scotch Dispenser is begging to be stripped, and put into some high-quality kydex.

Edit for Guyon: This is a 3 finger knife. Your pinky doesn't really touch the handle at all.

Its better than I was expecting but the upcoming AAS looks like a more useful design as an all around user and EDC. Still...the SD is strangely tempting.

There is a classic, and elegant solution to your dilemma. Simply buy one of each! I'll be one of the first in line if and when the AAS goes up. I've decided to buy at least one of every new model that gets released, so that I won't ever have to wonder what I was missing. I love the big Busse's, but in reality the little ones get much more use.

Mine arrived today as well, it is pretty comfortable. I was really surprised at how big it is, I was expecting it to be smaller.

The two that I ordered arrived today. Green and Desert Olive.:thumbup:

Yep, They are trickling in. My Muddy and the OD made it today. A little comparison shot with the Punkin Warden I had on my belt today, the Rat Warden, The Scotch Dispenser and my Assault Shaker which has been hanging around my neck today,

Thanks for the cool office decoration, Jaxx! I always put up pics of knives I have on the way, so I can look at the images without having to look them up online. Of all the images of BATACLEs I found, I liked yours the best. I have my own now, but I never bothered to take pictures of it, since it looks pretty much like everyone else's. I loooove the BATACLE.

I'm not an INFI stalker, not yet anyway. Though I may get it into my head that I HAVE to have a SHBM or something at some point, in which case, I may scope out somebody's knife in particular, and have it up on my wall until I manage to shake them down for it.

I don't have any pics of INFI around the house- pics of knives are like pictures of mistresses. If your wife sees them, she may start asking questions!

The SD is a bit blade heavy, if you open your hand, it wants to roll forward. I've never messed with a ringed knife before.

Some Skelly's

I like the AS the best.
