Hi all,
I'm new to collecting, and have recently acquired two of Schrade's limited edition knives, the SDU3LTD and SDU4LTD. Both decoys are in mint condition and quickly took pole position in my display cabinet.
I'm not sure if the information I've been given is correct, but, one online store states that there are 4 decoys in the set. If this is true, could anyone let me know what the model numbers for the previous two are so I can complete the set?
Many thanks.

Thanks for visiting, Orpheous. No less an expert than AGRussell states there were 4 of these. A google search using the model number with your '3' and '4' inserted showed me what you have. But when I inserted '1' and '2', I got nothing.

Those are beautiful pieces, and reflect Schrade's support of DU right up to the bitter end.

Stick with us, we have some real experts that should be able to help you out. In the meantime, to muddy up the waters and to make you want every single Decoy display Schrade ever did, here is a pic of the tenth issue of the Duck Stamp display.

I just found a SDU5LTD in the 2004 Pricelist. 500 were to be made and retail at 350.00. Looks like a sitting Mallard. No idea if they were actually produced.
The 2003 Pricelist has the SDU4LTD again 350.00 and 500 made.
Anyone have the 2001/2002 Price lists for the others?

Schrade made at least one SDU5LTD, just called my distributor and they have one available..

Yep, they made SDU1LTD through SDU5LTD. They started with the first one in 2000 and made another one every year until 2004. The SDU1LTD was the PH2 with burnst stag handles in a decoy. The SDU2LTD was the 50 pattern with burnt stag handles, and the 5 was the 162 pattern with bone stag handles.

I'm still peaking in every now and then. Been keeping myself a little busier these days. Lots of records to organize.

Thank you for your informative replies everyone.
I'm a big kid hunting Schrade easter eggs in my Google backyard.
UH fan, any ideas on where I might find photo's online of the 3 models which you mentioned?

I don't know of any on line, but if you send me an e-mail just to remind me, as soon as I get my scanner fixed or replaced, I can send them to you.

sdu3,4,and 5.

We still need 1 and 2

Okay, they fixed my scanner AGAIN. Now if I can just figure out how to do this, I'll get the other two pictures to you. I might have to enlist someone's talents.

That is one magnificent set of knives. The displays are great too. But those knives are something else! THAT is what I would like to see come out of the new Walden Knife Company! Hopefully they can enlist the same talented craftsmen. AND a very personable, knowledgable service and PR person too ;)

Diligence pays off! Very nice set of ducks and knives too. Thanks for the look.

Wow very nice display, welcome to the forum. Anyone else got something nice to display?
Regards Tim
