Like it says folks what would the difference be in the SARE lineup with respect to special edition to limited edition?

Both are satin finished. The limited knives are numbered. Typically LE knives had tiger hyde micarta, but that's not always the case now. The SE models has several choices of handle slabs. I'm pretty sure the LE and SE within the sar series both have zero edge convex blades.

The differences were the LE's have a number etched in the blade behind the logo and tigerhide linen micarta handles and they feel very nice. The SE's came with a variety of G10 or canvas micarta handle options and a few of the cheapest ones were offered with DCBB finish instead of satin. The grinds were all the same though, so you basically paid a lot more for a number and linen without gaining anything in utility value.

I found this all out when I picked up a few of the SAR 6's.
