Seal knife 2000 introduction date??

Hello,

Im trying to find the date SOG created the seal knife 2000. My parents bought me one for christmas when I was 11 or 12 that was almost 20 years ago and the knife is still going strong. This blade has been my camping companion for many years, I know they are rather inexpensive but the sentimental value is priceless.:)

I think you got one when they first came out. I think it was close to 20 years ago that we introduced them. I don't know the exact date but it was around 1996.
