Will the SOG Seal Knife (the original) no longer be manufactured ? I was browsing the official web site and noticed it was no longer listed. Sure hope im mistaken because this is just the best knife ever , it looks awesome ,fits my hand like it was made for me, has a perfect minimal guard (just enough), perfect blade length, holds an edge and is tough as nails . Even is well balanced for throwing.
 
Its much better then the elite in my opinion.
We begged for one in plain edge but it seems sog has been more worried about their mall ninja customers recently then their customers that use their knives.
 
The SEAL Knife 2000 have been changed and is now the SEAL Team knife. We have switched production to Taiwan, upgraded the steel to AUS8 and it now has the same handle design as the SEAL Team Elite. Any more questions just ask.
 
yeah,I also like the Seal Team very much.

but the aggressive checkering on the handle could be a little less aggressive in my opinion.
that would feel better in the hand.like it was in the Seal 2000.
that was good enough to have a firm grip.

I like the handle overall better than in the Seal 2000 though.
but that's just my preference,maybe someone with large hands prefers the Seal 2000.

I also like the steel running through and out of the handle.that is a big plus.
good for hammering .

and the Seal Team is way sharper ..really sharp out of the box.
