SEAL Pup Elite Black vs Satin

I hear AUS6 is more rust resistant that AUS8 so thats why they put the Black Tini on the elite, but what about the Satin finish? Will it be more prone to rust even than the original pup with the powder coated finish? Also, how much more rust resistant is AUS6 than AUS8, does it make a noticeable amount of difference?

I do not know about the rust capabilities, but I have the knife in satin finish and one thing you may not realize is that it is SHIINY. you could possibly use it as a rescue mirror it is that reflective. Not saying if it is good or bad, your preference. Just thought you should know

I like the satin finish for that reason.

How long have you had the knife? Has the finish worn away or rusted at all? How much has it gotten wet?

A polished finish is more rust resistant than, say, beadblast.

I have not gotten it wet, but it still looks great
