Seal Pup Sheath

I just got a Seal Pup as an early xmas gift:D I love it, but the nylon sheath it comes with is obnoxiosly big for the knife. I know you can buy the Kydex 'Groove' sheaths, but my brother has a much older Seal Pup and I vaugely remember that last I saw it, he had a leather sheath for it. Did they come with these sheaths several years ago? Is it possible to still find one?
 
Does your pup sheath have a flap? If so, cut off the flap and burnish the edge. I've found this to be a good remedy, short of a custom leather sheath. I'm not a fan of the Kydex ones, as I've read about them becoming loose over time and not holding the knife securely enough. SOG isn't the only user of the Kydex, and it seems to be an issue with the material, not the manufacturer.
 
Mine is the new nylon sheath w/o the flap, but it's still out of the question if I ever wanted to carry the Pup semi-discreetly. I guess I'll email my brother and ask him how he came by his sheath. When he gets home from Iraq I'll see if he'll send me some pics - maybe someone here will recognize it.
 
OK, it turns out my brother made his sheath out of an old combat boot. Guess I won't be finding any for sale then.
