Seal vs. Hunter Revolvers?

I am trying to decide which Revolver to get and I was wondering how the sheaths compare. Dose the Kydex Seal Revolver sheath have the “Groove” feature? Are the sheaths interchangeable?

Thanks.

Frank k, Hello buddy, the Revolver sheaths do interchange, the Hunter Revolver comes with a leather sheath, and the Seal Revolver and Double Action Revolver comes with kydex sheaths (no groove yet) and can be switched for left or right carry by removing screws and switching sides on belt lock.
All 3 Revolvers fit the leather sheath, and the Hunter fits the two kydex sheaths. The only slight variation in the sheaths are this, the 2 kydex model knives fit the leather sheath just a tad looser. I have tried them in many variations, and the leather holds them all, except slightly looser down near tips (no gut hook so there is a little play).
This does not have an effect on the knives in the leather, because there is a high ride wrap of leather around handle, and strap with snap that secures them well.
The question is, what type of outdoor activity do you plan to do ? The Hunter IMO, is the ultimate outdoor knife, flat grind with gut hook and double cut super sharp saw. The others models are equally fine, except no gut hook and pull cut saws which are very accurate for precision cuts.
I would reccomend the Hunter for anyone who wants a "do almost anything" knife. The others are equally awsome knives, and will do almost everything the Hunter will do except "zipper a hide". Please look at the link below, I found it a few days ago and found it to be very informative. Hope this helps. Please E-mail me if you need any more help or post any questions, thanks.

DPris, I feel like I don't know much of anything these days except it's raining and my bones hurt :( , and I have been wanting to get out and build me a lean to shelter with my Hunter, maybe next week............ :p

Thanks Robbie that was just the information I was looking for. Right now I think that I am leaning a little towards the Seal Revolver - you sure don’t make it easy to pick just one!

Thanks again,

I have the Hunter Revolver and I must say it is the best cutting saw I have ever used! It is absolutely amazing how effective that saw is. Deer season is is going on in my state and I will soon have some feedback on the effectiveness of the blade on game. I plan on posting a full report in the field test forum and give Robbie some email feedback. Next week, early muzzleloader. Hopefully smoke will fill the air in my neck of the woods :D
