I've finished my first knife. I did start with a ready made blade, but all the scales and the brass work were from raw materials.
My question is... When I was done shaping and polishing my stag (caribou, actually) handle, it wouldn't stay that way. The moisture in the air, and the oil on my hands make the scales tacky.
Is there a way to seal and harded the scales?
