Sealing Stag

Alternatively you can fill it with thick CA glue and then whet sand with thin CA glue.

I have searched various threads and am probably missing something but I’m still confused about how to seal the END of a stag handle when you’re dealing with a cut section like this:

If it is mine knife , I will clean/remove little from inside of stag and insert cooper there .If guard is cooper of course as it look like copper to me ?

Many choices:
Put a butt plate of metal matching the guard. Sculpt the edges to match the stag grooves. This is my favorite method.
Put a piece of wood on the end and shape as desired - Ebony, African Blackwood, or some type of dark wood are good choices.
Fill it with thick CA followed by thin CA and repeated sanding until it is smooth and hard.
Do the CA fill and carve the end as a dragon, "sun" face, or your initials. This is often done with a full crown handle.
Inlay an old coin or medallion in the end. Other inlay choices are a shape, like a star or cross.
Set a large gemstone in the end. Cairngorm (Smoky Quartz or dark citrine) is a popular choice.
