Well as most of you already know I love orange so when Seals Custom Knives did this Case SS Sodbuster Jr. with orange micarta scales and beautiful filework I just had to have it. I would like to show all my traditional friends my new soddie. It hasn't left my pocket since the wonderful mail lady brought it. Let me know what you think!

I want one!!! Wonder if he could knock the belly off the blade a bit as well? Looks great Ash. Consider this my entry for your kind give away. JUST KIDDING keep that bad boy close and use the heck out of it.

I saw that when he posted it and fell in love with it too. I'm glad to see that you got it.

Nice knife---Just a typical knife modified by Don, who always does work above expectations to produce a knife anyone would be proud of.

Wow,thanks to all!Im afraid all i see are the flaws.Looks like it could have used a little more hand sanding and cleanup.Im sure glad you like it Ash.Those little soddies are fun to play with.I have several times made that skinner blade more of a clip style. It's not a big deal at all.Hey Harold, thanks!Well, back to the game.GO RANGERS BABY!

How hard would it be to make the blade into a spear? For me that would be perfection.

Don't worry Don I told you I like it and I will be back to get my lime green soddie when funds permit.

I would have to think about that.If i put a swedge cut from the tip back about 1" or 1 1/2" would it resemble a spear? The tip would need to come down more right?I saw a spear point Puma Soddie on the bay recently. Was quite good looking.

Sounds like it would look great.
Sorry Ash if I'm drifting your thread.

Sorry Ash if I'm drifting your thread.

This can be easily remedied by folks taking all discussion about modifications and potential orders off the forum to email and PM.

(This is not directed at you, Mac. Just nipping the thread drift in the bud to get things back on track.)

Congrats to Ash and Seals.

Ash, that orange beauty deserves to be hinge pin deep under a whitetail's hide.

Any chance it will be this fall?

am not really into orange...but seeing this knife, it's an exception. the file work and the mosaic pin are beautiful!! great job Seals, Thanks for showing Ash.

Congrats. I like it. I remember seeing the pics of that one. It really changes the old basic Soddie.
