Hi all. I am seeking input on Sean O'Hare knives, in particular the F2K. I have an opportunity to possibly trade an Umnumzaan for one, and would like input from those who have handled them.

Thanks to all who respond. Any info is appreciated!

I have an Orion, can't comment on the F2K. It's very high quality, especially for the price. The materials, fit and finish, and ergonomics are all top notch. I actually used the funds from selling a small 21 with CF inlays to buy this one and I don't think I'd want to go back. And that's coming from a CRK nut. It's really a fantastic knife.

Thanks for the input! I appreciate it. Gorgeous knife you have! Any other input from Sean OHare owners greatly appreciated!

I have a Sean O'Hare fixed blade. I got it at the Custom Knife collector's Ass dinner at blade show where Sean was one of the featured makers. Beautiful Damascus with maple burl and mosaic spacer. He does nice work. Photo credit goes to SharpbyCoop.

I had an F2K, well put together knife but the ergo's didn't suit me so off it went.

Good to know, thank you! What did you find unappealing about the ergos?

Can't remember beyond it wasn't comfortable in my hand and there was no comfy place for my thumb to rest.

Keep in mind ergo's are a very personal thing!

The only one I have is his River knife. I've seen his work at Blade many times and it is top notch all the way. One heck of a nice guy too.

River knife at top.
