I’ve appreciated Sean O’Hare’s fixed blades and folders for some time and decided to commission a custom folder. I prefer a blade length just less than 3” for daily city carry and requested a slightly shrunken version of his fusion folder. He was extraordinarily responsive and in short time a new design was decided upon. For the handles I had some blue shred carbon fiber sent his way which he was happy to incorporate on top of 0.050” jeweled and anodized titanium liners. The bolsters are titanium and the blade steel is CPM154.

The knife was completed and received about a month ago and has been carried daily since then. The blade shape is very practical for most daily office and snack prep. If I could improve anything about the knife I might suggest easing/rounding the handle edges a bit more to make it a little sleeker/smoother, something I may perform myself if I find the time. Overall I am extremely impressed and satisfied - I’ve really gown fond of this blade and I’m sure it will remain one of my favorites. Here are the specs and a few quick photos – enjoy :)!

Closed Length : 3.625”
Blade Length : 2.82”
Open Length : 6.5”
Blade Thickness : 0.125”
Weight : 2.7 oz.

Cheers,
David

Thanks folks, I've always been impressed with an understated elegance in Sean's designs. As a maker just hitting his stride his knives also represent tremendous value in the frequently inflated custom market. Jon, I believe I saw an O'Hare posted by you a while back that further inspired me to contact him - thanks!
