Search by Steel?

Hey, are there any websites where I can type in a type of steel, say "D2" and get a bunch of knives in that steel?

Don't write me back with a list of D2 knives. I'm looking for a search engine.

I don't know of any site dedicated to searching by steel type, but you can search the 1SKS (click on STORE at top of page) site for steels. I just did a search using "D2" and got all of the knives 1SKS sells that have D2 blades (I also got some surefire lights mixed in).

Full'..probably the closest you're going to get is using the Ebay search function..type in a steel, D2 for example, and choose the "description" box in addition to the title..also, vary your input..for example when searching for "D2" also try "D-2"...for ATS-34 also try ATS34, etc.

Yeah, I've kinda been doing that. But most people don't list the steels and not everything is on Ebay.

I might do what Frank said on a site with a big selection like Knife Center unless anyone comes up with something better.
