I am trying to get the search feature to work, however every time I search for anything I just get a internet connection screen as if it ran into a dead in or overloaded or something. I am running from the school server wirelessly atm, but I have the same problem at home with my desktop running cable (the fastest available)...

Is it just me?

Here we go again...

Did you bother to read the sticky at the top of this forum labeled "Search Engine FAQs and tricks"?

yes I did actually. But I will check it again since your giving me the face.

Edit: ahh ok, I missed that paragraph when I was reading it over during my break. Thanks :)

Yep, you have to be as specific as possible when using the search function because BF is a very large site. Glad to have helped. :)

I really didn't mean anything by the face, it's just that this question pops up fairly frequently and most of the time the poster didn't bother to read the stickied thread about using the search function. ;)

At least he posted his question in the right forum. ;)

DeathByCactus (by the way, when do we finally get a "who has the strangest user handle" contest? :D ),
welcome to the forums! :)
Use the advanced search options as often as possible to narrow down your query. That'll provide you with much better results.

^^ lol

Aye, I finally got it working once I started narrowing my search it started working every time.

Appreciate the help and the humor :)
