Search for duty carry

Okay i posted a few days ago, and asked a few question. Now i narrowed it down to only 2 options. I need a knife for duty carry, survival, possibly buschrafting. (im an army Cadet)

Question is which one would you choose?? And Why??

First player: RC3 MIL i think this one would be only plain edge because the short blade length.

Second Player: RC4 Molle Back, black with serrated or plain edge. I prefer Serrated on this one.

Note that i also have a fallkniven F1 with a custom kydex sheath which i can carry for only buschrafting purposes.
 
I would opted for the ESEE3MIL
Why:
Simple the 3 can do alot in the way of survival/outdoor activities and not weigh you down and you do not feel under knifed either...the full flat grind and the 1/8" thickness is perfect for fine task and still can withstand punishment (If Needed). easy to keep low profile & combine with a PSK you have everything needed in a Last ditch knife if you choose the ESEE3MIL,sheath comes with many option of mounting as well.

I second the ESEE3MIL carries well and can do a lot of work.and you can get it with a Molle Back!
 
I'd go for the ESEE 3 MIL. You'll get the molle back, boot clip, glass pommel, and canvas micarta.

All the folks above are making good sense and I can only agree. For a knife to be carried to deal with real world tasks the RC/ESEE 3MIL is about perfect.
 
I know i am going to get flamed for this but i thinnk you should go with the RC 4. The RC3 series would be at a disadvantage for battoning wood thicker than your wrist without being a pain in the A$$. t CAN be done, but the extra length and girth on the RC4 will make it better for your purposes IMHO.

really, either way you cant lose, both are good survival knives, good bushcraft knives and effective denfensive tools....But i would go with the RC4....especially considering you already have an F1.

Thanks for the input guys, yeah Guardian, i get your point and you may right, the F1 and RC3 isalmost about the same size, but damn i like the lines of the 3...i will order in a week, and i think i only deide in the last moment:) Anyway i cant go wrong either i think.

have you considered the HEST..??? I don't have one but many people here seem to like it for urban outdoors...
 
Scotty, for the posting to europe and back i could keep both:P

HESÍT not playing, i need the molle back for leg extender or kydex on belt option. :) I will carry it only outdoors\ duty. I have my Emerson folders always in my RFP for the urban enviroment
