Search function glitching again?

The search seems to be doing that thing again: It's not showing anything more recent than last Wednesday.
 
I find the same thing, even just checking what I did last doesn't show in any reasonable order date wise.

I noticed the same thing early Friday morning. The last post of mine to show up in a Search of the "What 'Traditional Knife' are you totin' today?" thread was from 8:59pm Wednesday, but posts in that thread an hour later don't show up in Search results.

About a year ago, this same behavior showed up and Spark Spark had to rebuild the Search index (or some technical thing like that). FWIW, here's a link to that thread. Maybe it will facilitate getting the Search function fixed.

Search function seems not to have fixed itself over the holiday. No posts from the past week are showing up in searches.
(And Franco is still dead.)

While waiting for confirmation (from someone who can do something about it) that Search is acting up again, I'll post another observation of the "anomalies" that are currently occurring.
1) As noted earlier by others and me, Search does not return any results more recent than sometime (maybe between 9-10pm EDT) Wednesday evening 5/24/23.

2) On my profile page, Postings tab shows my most recent post as occurring at 8:58pm 5/24/23, although I've had multiple posts in the 8+ days since then.

3) On the other hand, the Images tab and the Latest Activity tab on my profile page seem to me to be completely up to date. (So these 2 tabs are not generated by the Search function, but the Postings tab is generated by the Search function? Just guessing.)

Thanks in advance for attending to this "search malfunction."

Search seems to be on the fritz again. When searching the "What Traditional Knife are you totin' today?" thread on the traditional subforum, I'm not finding any results from today (1/25/24); the latest posts that come up are from sometime in the evening of yesterday (1/24/24).

Would it be better for me to start a new thread for this latest recurrence of the problem?
I think I'll try that right now.

Not just the search function it seems. If you go into a member's profile, Latest Activity seems to be ok, but Postings doesn't seem to show the latest.
 
When I do an advanced search on say "Fiddleback" and restrict the search parameters to "titles and first posts only" and order the results by date, I do not see recent postings in fixed blades FS by members that should be included. A basic search does not order by date and produces a ton of results so I can't tell if the recent posting in question is found on those results. However, I think there is a search function/result issue going on. I get the same results for a search on "Dozier". In fact, when I go to the profile of a member who posted a Dozier knife FS recently (and used "Dozier" in the title) and click on "postings" in his profile or even just do a search for recent postings under his user name, I do not see his recent FS thread anywhere in the results.

Yes, thanks for getting Search operating again.
(Looks like there's about a 2-week gap in Search results during the time it was malfunctioning?)
